Plot Summary:	A weather man is reluctantly sent to cover a story about a weather forecasting “rat” (as he calls it). This is his fourth year on the story, and he makes no effort to hide his frustration. On awaking the ‘following’ day he discovers that it’s Groundhog Day again, and again, and again. First he uses this to his advantage, then comes the realisation that he is doomed to spend the rest of eternity in the same place, seeing the same people do the same thing EVERY day.

Plot Summary:	Whilst on a short weekend getaway, Louise shoots a man who had tried to rape Thelma. Due to the incriminating circumstances, they make a run for it but are soon followed closely by the authorities including a local policeman who is sympathetic to their plight. The federal authorities, however, have less compassion and thus a cross country chase ensues for the two fugitives. Along the way, both women rediscover the strength of their friendship and suprising aspects of their personalities and self-strengths in the trying times.

Plot Summary:	David Mann (’Dennis Weaver (I)’ (qv)) is just a regular family man on a business trip. Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse when a huge gasoline truck in front of him forces him to drive slower than he wants. As the drive continues, Mann realizes that he’s not dealing with just another road hog. Though he can never see the trucker’s face, the driver proves to be psychopathic, starting to run Mann off the road and trick or force him into a number of deadly situations. As the horrific trip continues, Mann tries to lose the truck, but each time he thinks he’s finally in the clear, the truck returns to terrify him more. Finally, the horrific conflict builds to a point where he realizes that running won’t save him, and that he must take a stand and fight back against the insane trucker.

Plot Summary:	On a hilly highway in the California desert are three cars and a truck. In one car are Russell Finch, his wife Emeline, and her obnoxious mother; in another car are Melville Crump and his wife Monica; in another are two pals, Dingman “Dingy” Bell and his obese friend Benjy Benjamin; and in the truck is delivery driver Leonard “Lennie” Pike. Suddenly the four vehicles are nearly struck by a wildly fleeing car that smashes through the guardrail and plummets down the embankment. The other vehicles stop and the men rush to help the injured driver, who turns out to be a wanted felon, “Smiler” Grogan, who is fatally injured and whose dying words to his would-be rescuers are an alert that a large case with hundreds of thousands of dollars is to be found buried beneath “a big W.” A detective arrives at the scene and questions the men, who all explain that they could make no sense of what Grogan was saying. But after the detective and his partner leave, the men begin wondering if Grogan’s dying words are true, and eventually a series of wild misadventures ensues as the four parties begin searching for the mysterious “big W,” find it and the treasure - and find themselves facing potential arrest at the hands of area police captain G.C. Culpepper.

Plot Summary:	1943. With the battle of Stalingrad turning the war against them, the Germans are attempting to bully neutral Turkey into joining the Axis; to this end they have trapped 2,000 British soldiers on Kiros, an island in the Aegean, with only one sea route for evacuation, a sea route commanded by two gigantic German antiship batteries deployed in a massive cliffside bunker on the island of Navarone. Immune to air attack and too much for Allied battleships to suppress, the British muster Keith Mallory, a commando officer who has been working on occupied Crete for nearly two years and who is an expert mountaineer, to ferry a team of British commandos to the only area of Navarone that is not monitored by the Germans, a 400-foot cliff. Greek resistance is to meet the team inland and guide them around German patrols to the area of the German guns. However, the commanding officer of the British team suffers grave injury in the climb and Mallory must take control of the mission, despite clashes with explosives expert John Anthony Miller, who upon the arrival of the night of the raid finds his equipment has been sabotaged, thus exposing a traitor in the team’s ranks.
